how to get there

By bus & train

From Salzburg main station, take the S1 to the Bergheim b. Salzburg / Schlachthof Bhf stop. From there, it’s about a ten-minute walk.

By bike

Cycling along the beautiful Salzach river, you can reach us in about 20 minutes from Salzburg’s city centre.

By car

From Lamprechtshausener Straße, turn onto Metzgerstraße and follow this road. Pass the ASMUS shoe shop and the building materials store, turn right at CONTOP and continue to the rear courtyard. Sufficient parking spaces are available on site.

No. The exhibition is only accessible as part of a guided tour or an event. If you do not book in advance, you risk standing in front of a closed door.

Yes. However, please take the generally shorter attention span of younger children into account.

Yes, there are plenty of parking spaces directly in front of the exhibition.
Well-behaved dogs can be taken along on prior request.

If you are unable to keep your chosen appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours before the appointment. In the event of late cancellation, a delay of more than half an hour or no-show, any purchase price paid in advance will not be refunded.
