I use hosting services for my website. These hosting services are used for infrastructure and platform services, computing capacity, storage space and database services, security services and technical maintenance services that I use for the purpose of operating this online offering.
In doing so, I or my hosting provider process inventory data, contact data, content data, contract data, usage data, meta and communication data of customers, interested parties and visitors to this online offer on the basis of my legitimate interests in an efficient and secure provision of this online offer in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The hosting provider or I collect data on the basis of my legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO data about every access to the server on which this service is located (so-called server log files). This includes the name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.
Log file information is stored for security reasons (e.g. to investigate misuse or fraud) for a maximum period of 30 days and then deleted. Data whose further retention is required for evidentiary purposes is excluded from deletion until the respective incident has been finally clarified.

Right to information: Upon request, I will provide you with information about which of your data I have stored. You can find more details in Art. 15 GDPR.
Rectification: If data held by me is incorrect, you have the right to complete or rectify incorrect data in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR.
Erasure and restriction: You have the right under Art. 17 GDPR to have data erased immediately or to have the use of data restricted under Art. 18 GDPR.
Data portability: If you have a legitimate interest, you have the right to receive your data in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR and to request that it be transferred to third parties.
Objection/revocation: You can object to the processing of your data at any time in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, in particular to the processing of data for the purpose of direct advertising (newsletter).

2.5 Consent and right of withdrawal
If your consent is required for the processing/use of your data, I will only process/use it after you have given your express consent. By giving your consent, you confirm that you have reached the age of 18 or that you have the consent of your legal representative. You can revoke your consent at any time at kontakt@weltdergifte.com. If you withdraw your consent, the data previously stored about you will be anonymized and subsequently only used for statistical purposes without personal reference. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
2.6 Data security
Your personal data is transmitted in encrypted form via the Internet. I secure my website and other systems through technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons. Access to your customer account is only possible after entering your personal password. You should always treat your access information confidentially and close the browser window when you have finished communicating with me, especially if you share the computer with others.
The data stored on the server used is mirrored (on two hard disks with RAID-1) to prevent hardware failures and thus possible data loss. In addition, a backup of all data is created daily with a retention period of ten days and stored on an external server.
For security reasons and to record access, your IP address is stored in the log files for a retention period of 30 days. This data is then automatically deleted.
All data stored on the server will not be passed on to third parties unless this is absolutely necessary for the fulfillment of the contract (e.g. bank data for the online store).

I collect, process and use your personal data to the extent permitted by law, otherwise only with your consent. Insofar as consent is given electronically on my website, I will comply with the statutory information obligations and record your consent using suitable technical systems.
